About us

General Simulations is a Ukrainian Physical AI company building the autonomy layer for GPS-denied operations. Our platform, SimDeck, turns ordinary drone recon video into measurable 3D digital terrain twins — and the same twin becomes the synthetic environment we train edge navigation models in. Brave1 resident, NVIDIA Inception member.

The Mission You will own the entire platform layer. We have a working 3D reconstruction pipeline and a browser viewer, but we need the infrastructure beneath them. Your goal is to ship this system in two modes from the same codebase: as a scalable cloud service, and as an air-gapped, completely isolated container running on defense GPU hardware with no internet access.

What you will do

• Core Platform: Build job orchestration for the GPU reconstruction pipeline, object storage, authentication, and multi-tenancy.
• Two Delivery Modes: Package and ship the platform as both a cloud service and an offline Docker deployment for uncontrolled defense infrastructure.
• C2 Integrations: Serve geospatial outputs (WMS/WMTS, Orthophoto, DSM, GeoTIFF, GeoJSON). Build OGC 3D Tiles 1.1 with KHR_gaussian_splatting for offline ATAK delivery, and an API gateway for Delta integration.
• Viewer: Extend our React / Three.js frontend to handle our custom paged LoD streaming format.

Requirements

• Production Python & TypeScript.
• Architecture experience: you have built and operated real services (message queues, workers, object storage, observability), not just CRUD endpoints.
• Docker & DevOps: experience shipping software that runs reliably on infrastructure you do not control. You are comfortable being your own DevOps.
• React: willingness to work on the viewer, not just behind it.
• Comfortable handling large binary data and streaming.
• Formal seniority and a degree are optional. What you shipped and what survived production is what matters.

Nice to have

• Geospatial stack: GDAL / PROJ, PostGIS, tile serving (WMS / WMTS / XYZ), coordinate systems.
• OGC standards (3D Tiles, glTF extensions) or NATO MIP4-IES.
• Three.js / WebGL / WebGPU.
• GPU workloads and CUDA runtime inside containers.
• Cloudflare Workers / D1 or other edge platforms.
• Fluency with terminal coding agents (Claude Code, etc.) — we expect you to verify agent output against compilers, tests, and deployment.

We offer

• 1–1.5% Equity — 4-year vesting, 1-year cliff.
• Full ownership of the platform architecture.
• Military booking (бронювання) is provided.
• Zero bureaucracy: technical decisions in hours, not sprints.
• Compensation discussed on the first call (please state your expectation in your application).
