About the Project
Grid Dynamics is looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a large-scale e-commerce project for one of the leading retail companies in the US.
The project focuses on modernizing the backend technology stack, upgrading existing services, and improving application performance and scalability.
You will work with modern Java technologies, reactive programming, and cloud-based infrastructure, contributing to a platform that serves millions of customers.
Responsibilities
- 5+ years of experience
- Develop, maintain, and modernize backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Work with Spring WebFlux and reactive programming.
- Upgrade the existing technology stack and improve application performance.
- Work with Maven, multi-module projects, and build caching.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and improve code quality.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Java (17/21).
- Solid knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
- Practical experience with Spring WebFlux and reactive programming.
- Strong experience with Maven, multi-module projects, and build processes.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- English level: B2 or higher.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Resilience4j.
- Knowledge of Protobuf and xAPI.
- Experience with Apache Cassandra and Redis.
- Familiarity with GCP, GKE, and Vault.
