Meet the YozmaTech

YozmaTech isn’t just another tech company – we’re a global team of go-getters, innovators, and A-players helping startups and product companies scale smarter and faster. We build dedicated development teams across 10+ countries, creating strong, long-term partnerships based on trust, transparency, and real impact. Here, every idea counts. We value people who are proactive, open-minded, and ready to grow. If you’re passionate about building meaningful products and want to join a team that feels like family – you’ll feel right at home with us.

Our client is a fast-growing startup that helps companies streamline procurement workflows, vendor management, and internal processes — enabling teams to move faster, control spend, and gain better visibility.

The company operates in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, working closely with customers and continuously evolving the product based on real business needs. The platform is highly configurable and integrates deeply with systems such as ERPs, CLMs, and collaboration tools.

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join the core engineering team. You will own meaningful parts of the product, work closely with leadership and customers, and play a key role in designing, building, and evolving the platform.

We care a lot about how you think: 🔹 You can clearly communicate and debate complex problems and proposed solutions. 🔹 You have a broad engineering mindset and enjoy understanding systems end to end. 🔹 You are comfortable taking ownership of technically challenging, evolving projects, not just well scoped tickets. 🔹 It is very important to us that you are independent: you know how to ask questions, ask for help, and own your features start to finish.

Key Requirements: 🔹 You have solid 10+ years of experience building and operating production backend systems; 🔹 You are strong at debugging and refactoring across services, logs, and data and strive for precise understanding, not hand wavy guesses; 🔹 AWS, with a heavy use of managed and serverless services; 🔹 TypeScript and Node for backend services; 🔹 Aurora Postgres; 🔹 Python for some services and data related work; 🔹 Integrations with third party APIs, ERPs, CLMs, and collaboration tools; 🔹 Experience integrating LLMs or AI-powered capabilities into production applications, using commercial model APIs or open-source models; 🔹 Understanding of how to build reliable AI-powered workflows, including tool/API integrations, structured outputs, error handling, and validation of AI-generated results; 🔹 Familiarity with AI agents, LLM orchestration frameworks, or multi-step AI workflows is a plus; 🔹 You have a broad engineering mindset and enjoy thinking in terms of systems, data models and flows rather than only individual endpoints; 🔹 You have taken ownership of technically challenging and evolving projects before and are comfortable working through ambiguity; 🔹 You communicate clearly in writing and in conversation and are comfortable pushing back asking questions, and exposing risks early; 🔹 You are good at using documentation, experimentation, and AI tools to unblock yourself and accelerate your work, while still owning correctness and quality; 🔹 You care about leaving codebases and systems in a better state than you found them and think about maintainability by default; 🔹 Priori experience working at a US based company is a nice to have; 🔹Ability to use AI coding tools effectively to accelerate development, debugging, and refactoring while maintaining ownership of code quality, correctness, and security; 🔹 English – Upper-Intermediate or higher.

What you will do: 🔹 Own features end to end and drive them from discovery through design, implementation rollout, and follow up; 🔹 Work independently while collaborating smartly by unblocking yourself and asking questions or pulling in help at the right time; 🔹 Analyze and decompose complex work into clear, incremental steps without losing important edge cases; 🔹 Communicate and debate solutions by explaining complex topics simply and leading productive design discussions; 🔹 Identify and articulate tradeoffs across performance, reliability, complexity, and delivery speed to guide decisions; 🔹 Design and implement backend services including APIs, background jobs, and data flows across multiple domains and systems;

Interview stages: 🔹 HR-interview; 🔹 Technical Interview(s) with Team Engineers; 🔹 Non-Technical Interview with the CTO; 🔹 Reference Check; 🔹 Offer;
