ODVEM is recruiting a Backend Systems Developer for a mobile application and administrative dashboard project. The planned engagement is part-time over approximately nine months; the start date and workload will be discussed with shortlisted candidates. • You hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognised educational institution at EQF/MQF Level 6 (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Systems. You can provide a copy of the qualification before final selection.
• You can demonstrate backend and systems architecture work on secure, scalable web applications, including database design, data modelling, and secure handling of images and geo-referenced data.
• You have implemented authentication, role-based access control and encryption, and can explain your cybersecurity and data protection practices.
• You can communicate effectively in English and commit approximately 80–140 hours per month throughout the project.

You will build secure APIs, databases, submission and verification workflows, and an administrative dashboard with reporting and data export. You will support deployment, technical documentation and collaboration with the mobile developer and designer. The implementation stack will be agreed for the project. Familiarity with public-sector or regulated IT standards is an advantage. This role is fully remote. No travel or in-person attendance is required.
